EVangelise is India's largest EV innovation challenge, brought to you by iCreate, India's leading incubator of tech startups. Focussed on 2 & 3-wheeler EV sub-components, in its second edition this year, EVangelise '22 aims to solve real-world challenges in the EV industry.

EVangelise '22 will provide innovators with an unprecedented opportunity and support to be commercialised at scale. For Indian EV manufacturers, it will enable them to reduce dependence on the import of sub-components and tap into industry-ready innovations that help reduce costs and increase efficiency.

 

EVangelise '22 attracted over 1100 applications across the country under three themes - Vehicle Traction, Vehicle Energy Storage and Vehicle Infrastructure. 40 participants were shortlisted to attend a 5-day Bootcamp from 7-11 November at the iCreate campus in Ahmedabad, where their innovations were showcased to technical experts for evaluation and mentoring inputs. The Bootcamp also saw participation from many industry players who engaged with the startups to explore mutual synergies.

 

Based on intensive testing and development, 18 of the Bootcamp participants will move forward to the Finale, which includes the final pitching round to be held on 19-20 December 2022. In addition to strategic manufacturing partnerships, the top winners will receive handsome cash awards and up to Rs 1.5 crore in incubation support.

 

Besides pitches by the challenge's finalists, EVangelise '22 Finale will feature top EV industry experts and thought leaders sharing their insights. It will also host an Innovation Expo to showcase the country's largest interactive exhibition of the finest EV innovators, plus an exciting EV rally to identify the lowest energy-consuming vehicles.
